Pricing

If it is at all possible, we would like to talk to two different classes/schools at the same time, preferably in the same district, or Consortium, or Region. However, we have found that most of the schools would like a one-on-one videoconference… and that we can do. The pricing schedule is set up to cover one, two or up to a maximum of three connections.

If, after participating in the videoconference, you would like to have that particular Living Historians visit your school for a half-day "live and in person" presentation, which includes an assembly and visiting individual classes, please contact us for pricing.

One-on-one Videoconference - $200.00

Includes a one-hour videoconference with one Historical Figure of your choice (if available for the time you request) to one class, with interactive questions and answers throughout the presentation. An additional 15 minutes is allowed for run over.

Multi-Point Videoconference - $150.00 per connection ($450.00 Maximum)

Includes a one-hour videoconference with one Historical Figure of your choice (if available for the time you request) with either two or three classes ... maximum. There will be interactive questions and answers throughout the presentation.

Since we want to provide your students with the best quality possible, we require that either your school or, in the case of two or more schools, that your Bridge or Gateway, transmit a signal to the presenters site that is greater than or equal to 384 kbps or better. If your equipment cannot transmit at that speed, please call Virent Broadcasting to see if different arrangements can be made.  Also, a "Test Call" should to be made at least three days prior to the conference.

In order for Virent to keep the costs to each of your schools or classes low, we ask that you agree to pay the line charges on ISDN calls.

Virent Broadcasting Co., and/or its members, are not responsible for; line charges, delays, postponements, cancellations, signal quality (both incoming and outgoing), disconnection or poor performance of signal carriers for IP, ISDN, DSL, Bridges/Gateways or problems with the receiving sites equipment due to unforeseen circumstances.
